// Leaving for Miami in the morning and I’ll be in Jamaica a week so I won’t be online or be able to see Snow White and the Huntsman until next weekend :(//

While I’m gone, check out the new trailers that came out!

Tell me your thoughts :) The Great Gatsby, Les Misérables, Anchorman 2, etc?

shushrobsten asked: Rob recently said in an interview that it's not true... it was just a rumour.

Anonymous asked: Pattinson has confirmed that he's not playing Finnick :)

Anonymous asked: Robert Pattinson is NOT doing THG movie, He said recently that he's not finnik (i have no idea how to write it lol) He has 5 movies to do in this two years and there's no THG movie in his list, can you please spread the word that he's not doing thg, i'm sick of those stupid rumours.

Yup :)

// What’s this I hear about Robert Pattinson playing Finnick in Catching Fire?//

I like him but completely not what I imagined while reading the book.. All my friends who read them are freaking out. Please, tell me it’s not true?

What everyone is asking.. Was Rihanna a good actress? Well, sure. She wasn’t a huge character, didn’t actually have that many lines but they faked it pretty well by spreading out those lines evenly throughout the film and displaying her enough. But it’s better than what I’ve seen from a lot.

What I Liked: Almost a year ago when I heard about this movie I thought nothing of it, like it was a joke. But it was good! Unlike Transformers 3, it had the perfect balance of special effects and a good storyline. The lead in was different and entertaining and they made effort of not making the lead girl just a pretty face. My favorite thing about it was their usage of disabled people. The characters included an ex-soldier missing his legs and a group of old veterans, its inspirational and nothing like other films! And if anyone is a fan of the movie Like Mike as I am, you’ll notice one of the characters all grown up :) hint: Ox! Haha I really liked the casting though.

What I didn’t like: They didn’t say “You sunk my battleship” even once. Disappointed. And I hate aliens (luckily these ones weren’t so scary) :p But really, the only thing I wasn’t fond of was just the idea of it. Based on a boardgame and having pretty much nothing to do with the game! Like G.I. Joe!

This hulk is awfully frightening looking for a hero..

“UberFacts: The girl who voiced Lilo from “Lilo & Stitch” was also Samara (the creepy long- haired girl) from The Ring.”

// The Avengers//

I’ve been postponing doing this review for a while now and I honestly haven’t the clue why.. but I just got back from seeing it the second time so I figured I should get it done.

It probably wasn’t even worth seeing twice, I would’ve rathered seen Dark Shadows tonight instead but I didn’t want to break my tradition of seeing all the marvel movies twice in theatres.

That doesn’t mean I didn’t like it though! However, this time I kept falling asleep for a few seconds before jolting up again.

And before I officially start, let me inform you on my superhero stance: My favorite hero is Thor but my favorite movie was Iron Man’s. I am a Loki fangirl, NOT of Tom Hiddleston, though he was perfect as the character. And I despise Black Widow as much as I do Wonder Woman (which is a lot.)

What I liked: I’m getting all these iron man and captain america ships on my dash but I don’t understand because I took more notice into the tony stark/bruce banner bromance going on in the film. I mean, the two drove off into the sunset together in the end! How much more bromantic can it get? But it was cute to watch. It was very funny but it’s sad I couldn’t enjoy what my dad called the funniest part of the movie because it was degrading towards Loki :/ The action scenes were obviously great. And I love their sort of hidden characters like Hawkeye in Thor and Dum Dum Dugan in Captain America so I went through the whole movie thinking the girl hanging around Furey was Spider-Woman then he said Agent Hill, bummer. But ya know, Captain America actually stole the show for me with this film. He’s such a loyal sweetheart, I love him. Love Pepper too; can’t wait for Iron Man 3!

What I Didn’t Like: Sorry but, too much Black Widow. I’m sure she had more screen time than any other hero. Srsly? It didn’t make it easier for me that she’s played by one of my top two least favorite actresses in Hollywood. And I thought her action scenes sucked, they would’ve been really cool if she didn’t make it obvious they were fake - like headbutting someone when its clear your head didn’t touch theirs feet away. I actually wish they would’ve shown more connection between her and Hawkeye since they marry from what I recall. And the heroes fighting all the time made me grouchy in my seat because I love them all and it was hard to take sides. I know its just a movie, but I’m kind of a nerd!

It’s too bad Batman’s coming out soon ‘cause everyone’s gonna compare the two even though they shouldn’t be, because this ones more for the family and will make you laugh while Nolan’s depressing.

8/10 (only because I know it could’ve been even better)

// Ahhh I keep forgetting to write my Avengers review.. I’ll do that before I go to bed.//

I’m sorry, this week’s just been really busy (prom, finals, dance show, etc)

// American Reunion//

What I Liked: It was a perfect mix of nostalgia and originality. I had no expectations for it so I was open to anything. I hate it when they make a film like this and they hold on to the first film too much and this one did it well and it was ok because its a reunion. It didn’t recap anything so you HAVE to see the originals to understand a lot of the jokes. I was afraid that they would make Tara Reid look bad in this movie but she was classier than I expected. Love her :)

What I Didn’t Like: Stiffler going after all the high school girls like he was.. he’s older and it came off a little creepy to me. If the girls were supposed to be older, like in college, it would’ve been less weird. And Oz becoming a celebrity was sort of too much for me, I thought it could’ve been better without so much of it.

// Think Like A Man//

Omg, I had to sit behind someone who had a crying baby, was using their phone, and had an obnoxious laugh. -_-

What I Liked: There were so many different types of people in the theatre: all genders, races, ages. It’s really a movie that anyone will like whether their viewing for relationship tips or a good time. Everyone in the theatre was laughing at everything and the cast couldn’t have been better.

What I Didn’t Like: I saw that Chris Brown was listed as a “star” on IMDb but he’s seriously only in it for like a minute total, probably less. So if you’re watching for him, don’t bother.. but I doubt many would be.

8.5/10

some movies just aren't worth seeing in theatres or worth seeing at all.. Read what I think & maybe it'll help when you're deciding between movies at RedBox or when in line at the ticket booth. Feel free to ask me about my thoughts on any movies I haven't mentioned.
